"There were some small issues with the cabin, but nothing that made us want to leave. I informed the company and they were very responsive. Its a cute cabin and loved the cabin theme throughout. "The location of this house was very peaceful (got to see deer walk through the yard) and the interior of the house was nicely decorated. We visited in June and the only issue that we ran into was the temp in the house. There were only 2 plug-in fans and we were traveling with kids and dogs so it was kind of toasty. Other then that it was a nice property and the amenities were great with the lake and pool."

"I was passing through on a cross country trip, with two Corgis. This sounded like a perfect spot - and was! The A-Frame was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. This is Glamping at it's best. Jean, the host, host recently installed a\n on demand water heater for the shower. Wonderful! There is WiFi, if you don't want to disconnect,, and a projection TV in the A-Frame that you can project your apps from your phone. The property has a beautiful 1 acre pond. "I need to be as comprehensive as possible as the host deserves the kudos. What a great experience. Upon our arrival (about 3pm), and we entered a sparkling clean home. Everything was new and we quickly settled in for 2 great nights. The matresses were all spectacular. One important thing is to read Stephanie's webpage and be sure to make advanced dinner reservations at the larger restaurants - perhaps the weekend before your actual arrival. I highly recommend Greshams. Great restaurant but...

"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."
