"Our hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. Our travel coincided with a snow storm and very cold weather. Before our arrival, our hosts kept us informed about local weather and road conditions, so we could time a safe arrival. During our stay, they continued to ensure that all of our needs were met. The Peak-A-View Mountain Retreat was the perfect place to stay during our time at the John C. Campbell Folk School. The cabin is clean and cozy and our dog enjoyed the fenced back yard. "

"It was in a beautiful nature park near Helen, check in took a while as it was a busy travel time during the holidays. The heating system in our room was not working properly and in the middle of the night it made so much noise we had to turn it off and sleep in our coats, as there were no blankets or any extra bedding of any kind. I told the front desk at check out the next morning so that they could get it in Yoder for the next guests and they didn’t even care to note down the number of the room. Not a good impression of the service at this place, but one cannot default the beautiful surroundings,"
