"Our stay was great! The house was very cute and clean. Hot tub worked great and was nice and hot! Everything was so well thought out. Lots of helpful hints posted around the property and we loved that all the light switches were labeled! The location is walkable to downtown as well, however, the road right in front of the home does not have a sidewalk and can be busy at times. We would definitely stay here again! "

"This is a delightful place to stay--it's quite close to the town of Black Mountain as well as Ridgecrest Conference Center. It's pet friendly and the hostess is absolutely wonderful. You will feel welcomed and cared for! My only caveat is that for your arrival, try to get there before dark as the back mountain roads are a bit tricksy to navigate and there's not a motion-activated exterior light. Once you're there--the check-in is easy and thereafter you can make a point of leaving the porch...

"This house was a perfect size for our family. The kids could watch tv in the back room, I could sit and read in the front room, the pool was huge, although the weather wasn't conducive for swimming, the fire pit in the front was a great spot for sipping wine and creating s'mores. A couple of the appliances needed maintenance but, hey, that happens. The house was well-appointed and we had a great time there. "

"Nice home, but in need of some maintenance and upgrades. Wooden entry stairs need some stabilization and repairs. Inside stair rails need to be secured and checked for safety. Master bath shower spout and handle are very wobbly and need to be repaired, fiberglass shower and tub insert look stained...bathroom facelift or upgrade badly needed. Master bedroom carpet needs to be replaced too...has a slight odor. Master bedroom is very spacious, but the three bedrooms upstairs are small. Very nice...

"Great house all around with plenty of room for two couples to have their own space with a common area for hanging out as well. Everything was extremely clean and beds were very comfortable. Location was quiet area, but easy access to all things Black Mountain. Neatly decorated and well-equipped for short or long stay."

"Lovely home with lots of charm! The kitchen looks much bigger in the online pics, but we made it work - lots of rubbing elbows :-) Beautiful views but make sure your car can handle the hills up and up and up… and up! Use the directions they send rather than GPS. "
