Private ferieboliger i Black Hawk

"We loved staying here the first time, and was glad we had the opportunity to book again for a second stay. This was the perfect property to bring my elderly mother; accessible while providing her with an amazing view of the valley to the south. A lot of hiking trails require a short drive; but I've always been impressed with what a beautiful region this is in the midst of Gilpin county."

"A dream! Very large open air exposure to fresh mountain air, and expansive views. Wild flowers, hummingbirds, wildlife. If u are looking for the ultimate escape this is the place. Splendid star viewing from the hot tub. You simply can’t go wrong!"

"It’s a great property. More than exceeded our expectations."

"We throughly enjoyed our stay. The home is well appointed with everything we needed for our week long adventure. The on property hikes, wildlife and the most amazing sunsets made it hard to want to venture into town. It’s private but still close to town to grab groceries or a bite. We had ice cream and had lunch at Ned’s General Store which was excellent. Our trip was a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful place and well kept. Very peaceful place, we loved seeing the moose with their calves up close from the windows. The kids loved the game room and Xbox, especially due to our daughter having altitude sickness, it gave our son something to enjoy while she was resting. The host was extremely responsive to any questions and checked on us throughout our visit. There was lots to do at the home for both kids and adults."

"This is our third time visiting the home and to say my husband and I are obsessed is an understatement. All the thought that the hosts have put into the "little things" make the cabin feel like a fun, safe, sexy and eclectic safe haven. We've been during winter, fall and spring and can safely say Spring is our favorite. We love sitting on the deck with a latte and watching the humming bird and listening to the wind through the trees (among other not so PC things). Highly recommend a visit."

"The property provided all the basic necessities that we could ask for except that the no air conditioning made sleeping very difficult for the four nights we were there. If we kept the windows closed because of the highway noise, then it became very hot and if we open the windows again, we had the traffic noise. We particularly liked sitting on the balcony the back patio and having the mountain greenery right there at our feet with even a short path that we could use for a slight bit of...

"House and amenities were just as advertised... the outside of the property could use a little TLC, meaning foliage and grass as it pretty much dirt and rock running down to the pond and wooded area. But the ton of wild life we saw, including a moose and her calf paying us a visit otw to the pond was a great experience. Would recommend to anyone traveling/exploring in the area."

"The house was well decorated. Good location. The advertisement says no central air, we just happened to come when it was unseasonably warm which made sleeping upstairs uncomfortable. Other than that it went well. Would be a very cozy property in fall and winter"
