Black Hawk Mountain Retreat: pool table, foosball, air hockey, workout room!

The Location:
This house is ideally located to be near many activities and attractions while still being secluded and feeling like an escape. This house is less than an hour drive from Denver and a perfect spot for a retreat!

-30 minutes to Clear Creek Rafting Co
-45 minutes to Red Rocks Amphitheater
-16 miles to Eldora Ski
-12 miles to Nederland
-20 miles to Idaho Springs
The rental is located only a 5 minute drive to the Gilpin Community Center that is available to both residents and non-residents and is anywhere from $0-$6 for the drop-in pass! It contains a gym with basketball courts, a heated pool, pickle ball, etc.

The Space:
-Basement/Game Room/Workout
Experience the ultimate basement that will keep you entertained while you’re home! This spacious basement is over 1,000 sq ft and contains a pool table, foosball table, air hockey, and other fun games for your competitive spirit! There is also a workout room filled with equipment such as a treadmill, stationary bikes, elliptical, pull-up/dip bar, etc. to get a full body workout.

-Living Room/Sunrise Room
Come and enjoy two living rooms. You can relax by watching something on the 65” TV and large couch that can be re-configured to be a bed or escape to the sunrise room which has great views of the mountains and outdoors. In the sunrise room you can kick back on the hanging egg chairs or the couch and watch a beautiful sunrise.

-Kitchen
This newly renovated kitchen has all the necessities to prepare your great meal and memories. There is also a stocked coffee and tea station to enjoy during your stay. Sponges, dish soap, dish washer detergent and paper towels will be provided for your convenience.

-Beds and Baths
Relax in one of the three private bedrooms at this property. The master bedroom contains a large California King bed and the two other rooms are equipped with queen beds. Each bedroom also contains a 55” smart TV! There are three bathrooms, two full and one half bath at this property. The master bath is equipped with a very relaxing jetted tub. The bedrooms and bathrooms have clean linens and towels provided, along with shampoo, conditioner and soaps. There is also laundry on site that is stocked with detergent and dryer sheets to use during your stay. (The futon and couch can be converted to be additional sleep accommodations if needed.)

-Outdoor
Escape to the great mountain outdoors at this property which contains many evergreen and aspen trees. Relax in the hammock strung between trees in the backyard or on the oversized deck that will be perfect for a summer night under the stars. Snow shoes will be provided during winter months.

-TV/Entertainment
Enjoy your own TV in each bedroom, which contains a 55” TV and the living room houses a 65” TV. Perfect for a movie night, each TV is a smart TV where you can use your streaming services or use the provided shows/movies or internet connection!

NO PETS ALLOWED
There is no enclosed fence around the property and pets are not allowed per Gilpin County STR regulations. No exceptions can be made. Breaking this house rule will result in a minimum $300 fine and immediate cancelation of stay.

-Cellphone Coverage and WIFI
Wifi is provided with the password in the welcome booklet. T-mobile/AT&T/Sprint has good service here. Verizon has no service and you will have to be closer to town to get service. Please check the information provided to ensure wifi connection prior to your arrival.

NO SMOKING INSIDE
There is no exceptions for smoking/vaping of any kind INSIDE the property and will result in a minimum $500 fine with the option of immediate cancelation of stay.

Guest access:
There is ample parking available in the large driveway for 4 vehicles plus the two car garage.

Other things to note:
An AWD or 4-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended for the winter months due to the mountain location and the steep gravel driveway.
This property operates with a septic system so please do not flush anything other than natural waste and provided toilet paper.
There are security cameras located outside of the property for safety reasons. There is a camera near the front door, garage and back entrance. Tampering or disconnecting cameras, utilities or internet is against house rules and will result in cancelation of stay without refund.
Travel insurance is always recommended for any guest as the cancelation policy will be held firm.
