"We absolutely loved the property and the cabin! While we didn't see any deer (our timing may of been off) we saw plenty of hawks and had a very territorial pair of hummingbirds that kept us company out on the back porch. It is at a dead end and very secluded with only sounds of nature and possibly ancestors, with a spectacualr view. The Jimmy Driftwood Barn, Mellons Country Store, and McSpaddens Dulcimer Shoppe is right down the highway the road and the town center is just a little further down."

"We enjoyed the space the cabin had to offer as we are used to cramped cabins. Not stepping on each other’s toes was a big plus. We were a little disappointed in not being able to use the wood stove although the heating unit did a great job of keeping the place warm. We made great use of the outdoor fire pit. No luck finding any fish in the pond even though we tried."

"Our stay was perfect! The house is spacious, the bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and nicely appointed. We had a game room and really enjoyed the hot tub. We watched the birds from the back deck and had a view of Ty’s lake. It looks like the house was recently remodeled, and has some really nice details. I’d love to come stay here again."

The owner was absolutely fantastic to work with and I’ll be booking again with her for sure. It’s very close to a boat ramp but limited parking there. The kitchen was fully stocked and everyone said their beds were great as well."

The cabin was very comfortably furnished with complimentary sparking cider, a coffee maker with Folgers and all the fixings, a nice-sized cold mini-fridge, and water which heated quickly. N.B.
