"Lovely hotel in a nice quiet area 10 mins walk outside York centre. Nice comfortable room with a kettle, tea and coffee which was re-filled daily. The hall and stairs were a bit run-down, and a creaky door leading into the hallway.I was a bit nervous about disturbing the other guests when opening and closing it. Breakfast was very good with a small buffet of cerials and hot breakfast to order. The hot breakfast came very fast and was delicious. Some days I had to leave before 8, and could...

"All the rooms inc the 2 en-suite bathrooms and seperate toilet were spotless"

"The internal decorations throughout the hotel really stand out and puts a smile on your face. Our room was beautifully decorated. The breakfast was nice traditional English. Parking on site was great and the walk into York was so easy. Everything great and so nice to say nothing to fault. "

"Great location close to Yorks city centre and the main station. We camel for the National Rail Museum wick was also very vey close. The room was large and comfortable with a huge bathroom. Sadly no view, though. Service from the reception was very neutral, not amazing in any way."

"Old B&B but very convenient and clean. Great service and the breakfast was really good. After two weeks with hot English breakfast every morning it was nice with a continental breakfast. Fantastic location for exploring the town. Only 10 min walk to the city wall. Stayed there for two nights and had no complaints at all."
