"The house and property were truly wonderful. We were looking for a secluded and quiet place, where we could be closer to nature, and this was the perfect fit. Sitting on the deck enjoying the quiet with our morning coffee while our dogs explored the yard below was so peaceful. The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge provided much needed recovery after hiking. We were even able to have our grandchildren visit for a family dinner, some games of cornhole, and finished with the host-provided s’mores...

The place was GREAT; very quiet and peaceful... was stocked with snacks, juices and waters, and fresh fruit from their produce stand (we even stopped at the stand to get more!). Nice back yard with a fire pit and outdoor games. We'll definitely be staying here again when we're back in the area!"

"The house was pretty great for what we needed. Found it odd that you had to go through bedrooms to get through bedrooms, but for our girls trip, it wasn’t a problem. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Water pressure is not great and smelled of sulfur when running, and shower was harsh. But overall not bad. Lots of air conditioning. Plenty of sitting space. Weather was too humid to enjoy outside. Nice large fridge. Laundry if needed. Downstairs half bath & up stairs full bath."

"In for the weekend with friends and adult kids for our annual meet up. This home was by far the best place we've stayed in Gettysburg over the years. The location was perfect for hitting the downtown area businesses and restaurants. Very clean, well stocked, and the host was always reachable in a short time to answer any questions. Nice after a long day of battlefield hiking to come back and relax in the backyard and shoot a few games of billiards. This may become our go-to stay every time we...

"We have claimed this lovely Homestead as our future Home rental when visiting our family in Gettysburg. This enhanced bright farmhouse is a tranquil escape. Fresh, clean and very spacious with a fully stocked kitchen of high end appliances. High quality, comfortable furniture and bedding. Large bathrooms included plenty of thick towels and showering products. Enjoyed morning walks on the private country road. Our little dog was able to frolic this countryside without a leash… she was elated....

"This historic railroad house was a great place to stay while in Gettysburg. One thing, since the address is Railroad street, it's true. The train goes by a few times a day, blowing its horn and the track is about 40 yards away from the front porch. Wasn't a bad thing, just forewarning. Working with Chris was great. We really enjoyed our stay."
