"Fantastic historic place. Comfy bed, lovely clawfoot bath, cheerful kind owner. Nothing super fancy, just a sweet place to stay for a good price with beautiful view of the river in charming town"

"Fire alarm went off at 11pm, staff had no control of this but it was an eventful night, keeping our 4 month old up the remainder of the night, also we had gotten bed bugs from the location, woke up with little red dots all over us. Waiting for a call back from the manager in the morning."

"Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this home2 location! The room was way more spacious than I expected, which was a plus. All of the amenities were nice (especially that shower) and the bed was very comfortable. No complaints about the staff either - all very nice and welcoming. One complaint is the room wasn’t the cleanest. I’m pretty sure whoever stayed in the room before us had an animal because we kept finding white animal hair in the carpet and on our clothes. My only other complaint is the pool...

"Yes, stores close parking good, staff good. The place years ago was top 3 hotels in area. Now not kept up, run down water buckets in halls, very old dirty feel."

"Check-in was quick and easy, but unfortunately we found roaches crawling on the table in our first room. We informed the front desk, and the employee handled it professionally by checking the room and quickly moving us to another one. The second room was cleaner and we did not see any bugs, although there were still some maintenance issues like stained sheets and damage to the walls. Overall, the staff was helpful, but the hotel definitely needs better upkeep and pest control."

"The room looked nothing like the pictures. It smelled like cigarettes and there were several holes in the walls/doors. Only good thing was the AC."

"Staff was extremely helpful with late check-in, and very accommodating. Room was very clean and neat, and facilities were wonderful. Would stay again next time I fly out of Cincinnati!"
