"A great find and conviently located. The gentleman on reception was great throughout my stay, very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was a good size with lots of old period furnishings. Large comfy bed and a fan heater provided. AC worked well too though being the cooler months use of fan heater was needed. Large bathroom with good hot water shower. Located within walking distance to the Palace entrance gate and plenty of resturants nearby. Would definately recomend and stay here...

"This hotel is the actual king’s palace. It is beautiful and well maintained. You do feel like royalty staying here. And it is the perfect location in city center, close to City Palace, shopping, and access to the lake. Would highly recommend!"

No one was at the hotel reception to receive us and the security guard gave us the room just to only asked by the property manager to change it later. It was a horrible experience overall. The manager Jassu was extremely friendly and helpful, arranging airport transfers, suggesting places to visit and eat, etc. The location is excellent, being close to the City Palace, Jagdish temple and Pichola lake. The views from the rooms are fantastic, especially if you book the Maharaja suite with its own large terrace. The amenities are modern, clean and well maintained, and we would happily return here."
