"Beautiful location in the heart of the East Sussex Countryside. An idyllic treat set in stunning surroundings with personal and sole use of a hot tub and indoor swimming pool.Warmly welcomed by Karen on arrival.Blackthorns is spotlessly clean, has everything you could possibly need.Eggs, milk, biscuits, tea & coffee all supplied.We will definitely be returning and our adult children too.Thank you once again Karen & Peter for our Wonderful stay."

Set in the heart of the countryside, it provides peace and tranquility, with regular visits to the hanging feeders from a host of birds. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway. "Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. "

"We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!"

"We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for four nights. It is located 5 mins drive from Rye town centre in a quiet, private location with allocated parking. The studio is spacious and the facilities are excellent for self-catering. We also ate twice at Layla's, a turkish restaurant, which is highly recommended. The town gets busy in the holiday season so you may need to book. The cottage also has a very helpful guide for visitors with lots of tips and advice to improve your stay. The shower extractor...

"Nice place, perfect for a weekend. Good decor and in good condition. Confusion on whether a parking permit needed displaying (it didn’t) so waster about 30 mins trying to get past the Vrbo bots. Once we got a human all was cleared up. However it would be good if the manual were to be updated. Bed comfy. Seating for the dressing table to do makeup was a kind of beanbag which was a struggle and the lighting was tricky as there was very little natural light in the bedroom. Kitchen well equipped...

"We instantly felt at home in this holiday house – and so did our dogs! Everything was super clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed - and much more. The fully fenced garden was a big plus, so our dogs could run around freely.There were even bowls, towels, and some treats for the dogs (and also for us)– such a thoughtful touch! The hosts were really friendly, helpful, and always easy to reach. For us, it was a perfect stay and we can recommend this place to anyone looking for a...

"Eine hochwertig eingerichtete Wohnung auf dem Land. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Für die Sauberkeit ziehe ich einen Punkt ab da auf den Fensterbretter Dreck und Spinnweben waren und im Gefrierschrank noch etwas drin lag und nicht alle Fächer auf gingen, da er total vereist war. Ansonsten war alles top. "

"Selvom vinduerne var meget gamle og der var lidt råd hist og pist i træværket var hotellet meget charmerende. Badeværelset var topmodernt og vandet varmt med det samme. Sengen var kæmpestort med dejlig madras. Personalet var yderst venlig. Gulvene i gangene var lidt ujævn,men det er også en meget gammel hotel. Kaffeen ved morgenmad var Neskafe,vi foretrækker bønnekaffee! Rigtig Engelsk morgenmad med det hele, men vi savnede ost og spegepølse. Udsigten til den Engelske Kanal var alletiders og hotellet er nogle få skridt fra byens centrum. Udmærket sted!"
