"Room was dirty, no staff on site, low battery got me locked out of apartment for an whole night without refund and request for refund on rest of stay ignored. Security deposit apparently refunded but now having to chase it. False advertising that there's a bar, this is no longer open, zero drink or food available on site The place should be closed down"

"Booked a 2 bedroom apartment and when advised of address, on the morning of the booking, it stated it was a one bedroom apartment. Contacted host as it was an Expedia partner booking via VRBO but seemed to only be able to contact through mobile no. Who did makeup a sofa bed. Apartment was great, it was very modern had a parking space, just a shame that it wasn't what was booked originally. Expedia support confirmed I had booked the 2 bedroom apartment"

"Booking is made on Expedia, but the you complete the registration on another site. Shower is built into a very small closet. Toilet is on the other side - in another closet. You have to straddle the toilet to use a hand basin that barely fits my hands and it's not possible to wash your face in it without splashing water all over the floor. Entrance way through to the room is in shockingly poor condition. Not the welcome one would hope to see. I would not recommend this room."

"Absolutely horrendous experience with a "host" who was completely unreasonable and unfair, that ruined our weekend and left us with a loss of money (and extra unofficial charges through PayPal) and no where to stay. Never again and would advise starting well clear. "

"En forfærdelig kommunikation. Cirka 1 måned før opholdet kontakter vi udlejerne for at få de sidste detaljer på plads. Alting går først i orden, da vi ringer til udlejer på dagen hvor vi ankommer. Faktisk stod vi udenfor hoveddøren, med udlejer i telefonen, før det sidste faldt på plads. Ellers super ophold i dejlige og rene Wolverhampton, både byen og lejligheden var meget indbydende."

"Received an email around 3 hours before we were due to check in the booking had been cancelled. We were en-route. Called the number on the email (which was a third party - not Hotels.com). Advised the booking had been cancelled due to 'maintenance' and to contact Hotels.com directly make an alternative booking. Attempted to contact Hotels.com but could not get to speak to a human being to make an alternative booking. We were left high and dry!"

"The check in instructions were a little confusing. Also the apartment is not that great given the price and the area. You could get a better room at the premier hotel"

"We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. Many hotels coming back up...
