Bedroom was a good size and clean. good facilities. bed mattress was too soft for my wife and I but comfortable. Outside lights to the back of the property were still on around 1..30 pm which disturbed our sleep pattern a bit. "Received a warm welcome from the owners and staff at The River Don Tavern. Had a lovely meal, well cook with generous portions. Good size room with large bed, plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Good breakfast supplied. Shower a bit dated, but clean with plenty of hot water. Spacious car park. Quiet farming village with safe walks for our dog. Enjoyed our stay. "

"First time staying in Malton. Arrived Friday just after lunch on market day and parked just outside the building. Chapter 2 is a bar and served a couple of real ales as well as the usual range of beverages. The bar itself is very nice and staff were very friendly. The location was great and we easily walked pretty much everywhere we needed in Beverley itself, and the parking spot was an added bonus for our car (though it was a tight spot, our Vauxhall Corsa just about fit).
