"We booked this hotel for it's location, price, reviews, and the fact that it was recently renovated. Our room looked as though it had mold covered by paint, and upon further inspection, we could see mold behind a wall outlet. We asked the person at the front desk if we could have another room and he did without any issue. He didn't seem surprised or apologize, but he was pleasant and accommodating. Even though there was newer furniture and paint, it was just new stuff covering old. The bathroom...

"Breakfast ok, fresh, only bananas for fruit, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. Small bottle of lotikn half gone, blow dryer didn't work. They use an air freshener in ac unit and it was way to stro g. Seemed like a cover up. We were only there overnight. "

Two dirty face towles in the room, went it go get clean ones and the front desk person said house keeping was gone and he was working by hisself to come back in the morning. "This motel exceeded my expectations. The room I stayed in during Mule Days 206) was right up the steps on the corner. There was very little foot traffic in front of my door and I left the door open some because the weather was nice. The room was clean, if a little worn and dated, and the towels were replaced daily. It was convenient to everything I wanted to do in Columbia, TN, downtown, food and festival. I planned ahead and brought my own coffee maker and coffee plus my favorite pillow which...
