"Dejlig lille lejlighed med altan og med alt, hvad din familie behøver. Lejligheden er placeret på torvet og i stueetagen er der restaurant og is-butik. Derudover ligger lejligheden i den dejligste Alpeby. Eneste minus er, at man skal bruge træk-ud-sengen i køkken/alrum som sofa, og det egner den sig ikke rigtig til. Jeg vil anbefale at leje parkeringsplads i ejendommens kælder. Det er super praktisk og fungerer upåklageligt. Der er ikke gratis parkering i byen."

"Pros: Good location. The balcony has good views of mountain, river, and cable car. The Grindelwald Grud is walkable, about 10 mins and the Grindelwald Terminal is about 13 mins on foot. Grindelwald Terminal has many shops, including coop (grocery store) and Lindt chocolate. The apartment doesn't have A/C or standing fans, but if you keep the windows open, you get nice freeze. Interlaken is about 25 mins drive and the Lauterbrunnen valley is about 20 mins drive. There is a free parking. Cons:...

"We loved this place! The view from the backyard is stunning and the hosts have thoughtful touches all around the house. The location is right by a bus stop and 8 min walk from the start of central Lauterbrunnen. "

"This place was so peaceful and amazing! Easy check in at the train station when you arrive, and about a 10 min walk mostly downhill (so uphill on the way back). The most beautiful views of Lauterbrunnen valley. Lovely porch to sit out on, comfy couches, stocked kitchen, washer dryer in unit. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

"This is a really nice and cozy place. I have never experienced a Swiss mountain house and this gave me the experience i wanted. Really nice neighborhood within the mountains and close to a few places of interest. "

"The apartments are in a perfect place with lake access, nice dining, great ferry and bus connections which are right outside the door. Quieter than the city and provides a great way to unwind and relax and head into town when you need to. "Our first time in Grindelwald and it was incredible! The place is beautiful and well appointed. It is located very centrally to the best part of the village, and a short 20 min walk to either the terminal for Jungfrau or 20 mins the other way to the lift for Grindelwald First. We spent all of our down time on the large balcony watching the light change on Eiger, which looms larger than life in front of you.Sunny days and the sounds of cow bells are memories we will cherish forever. "Diane was a wonderful host! She responded quickly to any questions and had clear instructions on how to access the property as well as a thoughtful binder on things to do and information about the apartment. "Was so fun. Great comunication and amenities. Large beautiful windows and great views. Everything is close by. The only thing we had found is that the laundry is off site at a laundromat not in the building. The balconie were also cute and handy. "Alpenhof is a lovely little hotel nestled just a short walk uphill from Grindelwald Station. It offers everything you need for a great stay in this beautiful alpine village. The location is central and convenient, with easy access to everything from First to Interlaken. The rooms are clean and cozy, the on-site restaurant is very good, and there’s parking available right in front of the hotel. For those traveling by electric car, charging facilities are also available. A great base for exploring the region!"
