The house was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Beds were not made, wet sheets were still in the washing machine, dirty towels were still in the hampers, the dishwasher had not been emptied, and the counters and sinks were dirty. There was also a crib in the main bedroom that was not in the listing photos. We moved it out because it was in the way. The phone number provided by vrbo for the owner was out of order, so it took a while to get in contact. He said he'd send the cleaning crew out the next morning. We were gone most of the next day, and when we returned, the house had still not been cleaned. The owner said they didn't come in because we weren't there. So he had to send them out again. The house was finally cleaned by the end of the second day, but the dishwasher was still full. We put things away best we could, but we didn't know where everything went.We could not use the fireplace because something was broken inside it, the firepit would not light, and there was a rip in the felt of the pool table, making it unplayable. The photos of the game room are misleading. It is really two small rooms, one also has the washer/dryer in it, and the other has large metal storage lockers in it. The rooms were not bright and inviting like the pictures show. Also, the steps leading down to the game rooms/laundry area are precarious and definitely need a handrail.Overall, we felt we paid a premium for specific amenities were were unable to use.
