Only downside for us as seniors was the very hilly area. We love to walk but the high location of this lovely home meant we preferred to drive, and therefore park, to visit the town. Beautiful house. Some of the best we’ve had in a rental. The house is well located with views of Carsington Water and pub within walking distance. Lots to see and do within a short drive. "Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend."

"We enjoyed our short stay at the barn. The host Jackie was very friendly and kindly allowed us the use of a field to run the dogs, which we (and they) appreciated very much. There are also lovely walks from the property and Dovedale is only a short drive away. We would definitely return if we are ever up this way again. Thank you."
