Hotellet har alt hvad man behøver for at få et vidunderligt ophold… spa, fitness, tennis, lækkert og varieret buffet og super strand. Kan varmt anbefales.

Nice facillities and good food
We were satisfied with the beach and all the facilities at hotel. The breakfast at the Indigo buffet restaurant was good with a wide selection of food. At lunch and dinner it was just average. The food and service at the Dolce Vita a la carte restaurant was very good and over average. The Coral Bar was very nice in the evenings and the service from the waiter Siham was always excellent. We had a Court Yard room. The room is very small for two persons and it was difficult to find space for two suitcases. We experienced some incidences we have to mention. Three day in a row we had a problem to unlock the door to our room. On the 3rd day they finally found out that the keycard reader was low on battery. The next day the telephone was not working. Two days later the A/C was not working. We waited about an hour and had to call the front desk twice before the staff came to fix it. All in all we don't think that the hotel is up to 4 stars

Ingen plads ved poolen
Der var ikke parasoler ved poolen og det var umuligt at få en plads ved poolen, medmindre du stod op kl.06, hvilket vi ik ønskede på vores ferie. Du skulle stå i kø fra kl 8 for at få plads ved restaurenterne. Vi blev mødt med rigtig dårlig service af poolmanager da vi bad om en parasol ved poolen. Fugleklatter på stolene i restauranten.

Fantastisk
Jeg og min mand er blevet gift i hotellet(14.08.2014). Det var rigtig fantastiske oplevelse. Alt var super. Vi havde en god ceremoni på stranden, meget romantiske aftensmad på stranden og rigtig god rum service morgenmad næste morgen af vores bryllup.

Resort situato in un tratto di mare bellissimo. Spiaggia attrezzata e possibilità di fare attività nautiche. Grande attenzione ai clienti, coccolati durante tutta la giornata con offerta di bevande e frutta. Camere spaziose, sempre molto pulite. Il ristorante Indigo offre un buffet abbondante e vario, sia per le colazioni che per i pasti. Il ristorante Dolce vita ci è piaciuto di meno.

The Ambre delivered on many fronts and its reputation lies very squarely on its staff. We had excellent service throughout our stay , lots of choice for meals, lots of sun beds (although there was the rush to secure them pretty early and then disappear off to other areas leaving a lack of the more popular ones) The biggest bug bear for us was the smokers around the pool. There is a dedicated smoking area just outside reception but most smokers lit up at their sun beds....cigarettes, pipes and even little thin cigars. It spoiled the holiday for us...we just couldnt get away from the smoke. The hotel (while well run and with the beautiful hard working anazing people) was not luxury...it was old and tired in many places..we changed rooms on rhe 1st day due to issues. I tripped outside the gym and fell cutting my knee which was caused by an uneven raised flagstone. We loved the view and the weather even the rain....but it wasnt quite as amazing as it looks on photos and videos we saw before we came. Many thank to the staff. They really are amazing.

The service was horrible right from the start. We even asked to talk to the manager, but the only justification I understood was that all this was happening because we booked through a third party and not direct with the hotel.

Absolutely amazing stay . The suite was amazing with 2 larges rooms and 1 large bathroom and 1 shower room which was great as we could stay all together mother Dad and 20 years old son . The restaurants are absolutely great and staff look after you in good manners . Food is fresh. I must say they have the best fruits to offer on daily basics. Mauritius food is the best and I will recommamd anyone to try . A special thank you to all the staff for making our stay memorable. Thank you Veema Hotess & Ravi's from Indigo - Thank you Annick from Italian Restaurant - Thank you Shahil the beach boy bringing our drinks and Thank you Dheerej who helped me to book the beach restaurant when it was fully booked. Fint hotell med utmärkt strand och vatten
Hotellet var så bra! Den vita stranden och det blåa vattnet är deffenetivt en av höjdpunkterna. Personalen var serviceminded och hjälpsamma. Buffén var bra med bra kryddad mat och den italienska lunchresturangen var också bra. Rummet var inte det nyaste men ändå fräscht och rent vilket jag tycker är det viktigaste. De hade många gratis vattenaktiveteter. Vi var där i augusti och alla varnade om mycket blåst på östsidan, men för oss var det bara en skön bris. Ett väldigt bra hotell, dock är det svårare att ta sig till en större stad. Plus får de också för att hundarna på stranden får lite hjälp.

Très joli hôtel avec une plage magnifique. Les restaurants sont également très bon (le dolce vita était excellent). La chambre était très bien et très spacieuse. On était à 30 mètres de la plage. Les petits chats qui se promènent sont trop mignons... même s'ils nous ont fait un peu de peine (tout maigres)

Hotellin ranta oli hyvä ja aktivitteeja oli hyvin. Vaikka rannalla on kielto paikkojen varaamisesta ennen klo 10, niin siellä käytiin varaamassa paikat jo aamusta. Pettymys, kun hotellin puolesta tähän ei puuttu mitenkään. Arvostaisin suuresti, jos puututaan keräämällä pyyhkeet pois. Palvelun taso on erittäin vaihtelevaa. Vastaanotossa oli mukava ja palvelualtis henkilökunta kuin myös siivoojat erityisesti Ram. Indigo ravintolassa muutama miestarjoilija sai meidät tuntemaan itsemme tervetulleiksi. Liian usein jouduimme odottamaan, että saimme juomamme tilattua ja monesti toivat ne juomat. Eikä se tarjoilijan hymykään harmittaisi.Kiire oli tyhjätä lounaskattaus, sillä viimeisille ei ollut enää samaa tarjoilla, kun lounaan alussa. Tämä on iso miinus. Ruoka oli tavanomaista buffee tarjontaa. Monenlaista lihaa ja kalaa. Kasvisruoka tarjonta oli todella suppeaa. Hotellihuone oli tilava ja plussat sängystä,miinusta vaatteiden hylly säilytystilaa vähän. Hyvää oli, että vessa ja pesutila olivat erillään. Kaiken kaikkiaan suht ok hotelli, mutta ravintola Indigon henkilökunnan palvelun epätasaisuus jätti huonon vaikutelman. Ehkäpä, jos olisimme puhuneet ranskaa olisimme saaneet samaa palvelua kuin vierrissä pöydässä. Tämä oli kolmas hotellimme Mauritiuksellea ja jäi sijalle kolme.

Die Gastfreundschaft, das immer freundliche und korrekte Personal, sehr angenehme fast familiäre Athmosphäre, wundervolle Lage und wunderschöne Anlage. Vor und nach dem Zyklon, waren wir stets bestens informiert, das Personal hat für schnelle und pragmatische Hilfe gesorgt.Sie waren jeferzeit für die Gäste da und standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. I had a very good time. The food was amazing especially at the indigo restaurant, the staffs were very kind and helpful and the overall service was excellent. The hotel has everything you need to spend a lovely relaxed holiday. Thank you to all the members at the Ambre hotel for making this holiday a special one.

Detta hotell skulle jag absolut inte klassa som 4 stjärnigt. Läget vid havet är underbart,men sen finns det en hel del de behöver lyfta upp. Buffe maten var under all kritik Väldigt dåligt utbud och ganska tråkig mat med mest grytor. Drickan tex Coca Cola var alltid avslagen. Standarden på interiören är väldigt sliten och lamporna i vårat rum hängde lösa på väggen. Roomservice tog 2 timmar När jag ringde och frågade var maten var så hade de inte fått ordern sa de Sen tog det ytterligare 40 min Trött personal som inte var så intresserad av att hjälpa till eller ge den service man kan förvänta sig. Skulle mer säga att detta är 3 stjärnor max.
