"A worn-down hotel on the shore of the Belize River. Room was OK, but not completely clean. We got spotty sheets with holes. The pools were filled with leaves, and we didn't see anyone use them at any point. Construction workers were fixing up the place, but they started cutting rocks at 7 am, which meant no more sleep for us. Not an enjoyable stay."

"Our host Vinny is the standard of what host should be. She was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Also a great cook. The room was comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don't.
