"This is a lovely property very close by to the ferry docks and almost right next door to the museum. We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms. Both were large, very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The above are enough reasons to choose this hotel, but the lady running the place, Michelle, was so friendly and helpful. Our flight got cancelled on us at the last minute and she really went out of her way to help us out of a situation that could have been a disaster. Amazing customer service...

"Dominic the owner and his staff were amazing. We arrived way early and they went above and beyond to get our room ready. Having breakfast included was very nice and the option to have dinner at a reasonable price was even better. Getting to St. Ignacio was a breeze, with conectivos going by just across the main road. "We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! "

"We were very happy with this little boutique hotel on the beach. Facilities are in excellent shape, location is perfect for Hopkins, everything is spotless, and the staff genuinely sees to your needs and wants you to enjoy your stay. Oh, and they have the best restaurant in town! I'm sure a traveller could find higher-end luxury in the new corporate resorts on the edge of town, and probably less expensive lodging as well, but for us this was the perfect fit!"

"Beautiful place. Just as described. Lots of room. Only complaint would be about the sea grass. It made swimming in the Sea impossible. Can’t swim in the lagoon because of the crocodiles. But we found a resort nearby with a beautiful pool. We were able to swim there for hours, as long as we bought lunch there. Check out Azure Del Mar if you end up in a similar situation! "

"This is a very nice small boutique hotel near the beach. The only compliant I had was about communication with their staff. I had spoken twice with their staff to request help with scheduling a taxi to the airport and was told it was confirmed. However on the day of my departure there was none scheduled. The staff on duty didn't know anything about it. I had to wait for a taxi to be called and this could have caused me to miss my flight. "

"We were hard pressed for choice, but really happy we ended at The Palms. Very nice staff, clean pool and even a small and clean gym. Only minor issue were some glass shards that house keeping had overlooked - it was taken care of promptly when we pointed it out. Water pressure on the third floor is not impressive and the beds are memory foam, which is a matter of preference. A/C was super efficient and the selection in the minibar very good. Limited choice of restaurants nearby, but for a stay of two nights it was perfect! Would recommend to a friend and come back if we are ever in town again. "
