"We stayed at this lovely home in February, 2022 for two weeks. There were a few blips in the beginning due to Anna, the housekeeper, being called away to a funeral. We understood that could not be helped but it did make it a little harder to figure out the lay of the land. By the time we had to say goodbye we were in love with the island. The home is lovely and well equipped. The bikes work well but if you want to eat dinner out, you will want to find a taxi that can bring you and the bikes home...

"I cannot stress enough the overall experience that came with staying at this property. We were met at the gate with chilled towels, which are so nice to help cool down from the heat of Belize. They helped us get our luggage to our room. The rooms were beautiful! Bottled water in our room and then other snacks and beverages for purchase in the fridge. "The host has a terrible attitude and is dishonest . I would not recommend this place to anyone. We (a family of three) booked this place for 2 nights. The host left us 1 washcloth. We asked for additional towels and had to go back and forth with him before he finally agreed to bring 3 more washcloths the following day. "We were hard pressed for choice, but really happy we ended at The Palms. Very nice staff, clean pool and even a small and clean gym. Only minor issue were some glass shards that house keeping had overlooked - it was taken care of promptly when we pointed it out. Water pressure on the third floor is not impressive and the beds are memory foam, which is a matter of preference. A/C was super efficient and the selection in the minibar very good. Limited choice of restaurants nearby, but for a stay of two nights it was perfect! Would recommend to a friend and come back if we are ever in town again. "
