"Hotel itself is an older building but has had some work done. Our deluxe king room with balcony/patio (all ground level rooms) was spacious & clean with large separate bathroom. With nice weather took advantage to sit outside and enjoy. On the Mayday Hills grounds so nice and quiet at night. Rang ahead to check on the bbq and it was ready for us during the stay. The walk back from town is uphill but very manageable. Would recommend."

"The Orchard house is well located in Beechworth, and is a very pleasant walk into town.The rooms were all set up very well. We were a family of 6 adults and two under 4 years old.The ping pong table was a hit with all.Sitting on the verandah enjoying the sun was very relaxing.The butler's pantry/laundry was a great feature of the property."

"Picketts Cottage was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed and more. It was quiet and only a block away from the town centre. The dossier on the coffee table covering the tourist attractions, amenities and hospitality venues was amazing as it also included an informative history of Ned Kelly and the Kelly gang. We would certainly stay here again."

We came to Beechworth to ride the High Country cycling trails & surrounding gravel roads . Yakandandah was our favorite little village with a bustling vibe. Highly recommend Bare accommodation if you want to be in town & walking distance to local amenities this is a great spot . Very clean & well appointed. "
