"Lovely hotel. Does not feel like waterfront from most rooms. Excellent bar, fairly good restaurant. Parking is a mess."

"The General manager assaulted me after having a heated discussion on there polices of having to use their valet parking. I was told if I didn't use there valet I would have to park on the road off of their property. I ended up not staying their after the manager called the police as I wanted them to, because I was assaulted by the manager. So I lost the $ for the room. I'm currently filing charges for the way I was treated. I would by no means stay at this place with the unprofessional managers...

"The Beaufort Bungalow was perfect. My wife and young daughter stayed for 2 nights and its location allowed us to easily explore Beaufort, Morehead City and Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle. The cottage itself is so cozy in a beautiful setting very close to the downtown Beaufort waterfront. My daughter loved the loft area. Would definitely stay here again. Had an opportunity to meet both Dave and Clara and both were super nice and helpful."

"Nice and Clean however the towels needed to be washed again, the dryer did not dry well. Need blackout shades in the bedroom. Shower head leaks. Even with these issues the place was nice and clean, comfy furniture and beds. "

It is close to downtown, Harkers Island, and Cape Lookout, It is clean, the gate and apartment key codes worked, it is tastefully decorated. We had no issues of any kind. The owner provided us excellent suggestions of what to see and the weather was beautiful. "
