"Great location on Lake Muskoka, short trip to either Port Carling or Bracebridge for groceries or shopping. Cottage is well maintained and appointed. Property manager is responsive and reasonable. We felt very comfortable at the cottage. Beautiful lake views from the cottage and dock. Hiked up Huckleberry Lookout which is a 5 minute walk away. Used the kayaks on the property. Fireplace in the cottage works very well. We did a Rosseau lake trip on the Peerless II. "

"Annually, our multi-generational family gathers for a lake vacation. We travel from the Chicago and Seattle areas. This year was extra special, since we returned home to Muskoka where the older “we” vacationed as kids. The home offered ample room for 10 to spread out. The location was ideal for boating, hiking in Algonquin and even a quick run for groceries. Downside, the property is up For Sale. "We booked a four night stay in Sept 2025, hoping for a few days of rest and relaxation. Our stay was simply wonderful. Host Greg was welcoming and very responsive. The house was the perfect size for us and our dogs, with many comfortable places to sit and read, or just watch the chipmunks and birds. Our hosts had thought of everything that might be needed in each room, leaving nothing wanting. "This house was absolutely stunning and comfortable for the purpose of our trip. The screened in porch was an absolute game changer because of the only downfall ... BUGS! We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but could not. Both days, the deer flies and mosquitoes were so bad. We had our puppy with us, and got eaten from just standing out to let him pee. I tried to go for a walk, but it's just the area. We stayed for 2 nights while at a lacrosse tournament, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked...
