"The staff is very welcoming and kind. The lobby downstairs is very comfortable to sit in for long periods. I wish they kept the snacks stocked but I guess that was minor. I really like how the place is decorated and would return if I could stay in one of their very cool private rooms. The wifi was excellent as well."

"Comfortable bed. Decent hot shower. Lockers in the dorm that appeared to be secure. Unusually for a hostel, they provided shampoo and handwash in the showers and bathroom. It's rather spartan but is relaxing and enjoyable. Has most things you need. The one thing lacking was a kettle."

"Could not find the property, clearly this has been a problem for others, even followed the hotels guidance of putting in another building in sat nav, the taxi driver could not find also, ending up paying for a hotel that i could find."

"The room was nice, but the bathroom was dirty (previous guests'hair and stains were on the walls). Even though there was free wifi, it was extremely slow and did not work half of the time. The common areas are very nice, but also the stationary computers barely work or connect to the internet. Good for a short budget stay in a central location, but I would not stay there again."

"Parking a bit tight, its underground. Lifts are confusing at first with no proper labeling. Huge and clean room, basic amenities. Small window. "

"I arrived to this property after midnight, but the owner welcomed me with a smile. He even prepared me a tea in the morning, explained how to explore George Town in a day (coz I was there for one day only), even help me sorted with my lost baggage issues. Would stay more days in the future trip to Penang."

"On arrival thought the place was very good, easy checkin, friendly staff, decent sized room etc. Easy walk in the evening to Chullia St Hawker Stalls for a really good meal. All over the hotel there were signs about no noise after 10pm all was fine till 3am when the noise the door banging, running up & down the very old, very noisy stairwell this went on & off till 5am. We don’t expect complete quiet in a hotel at night & do realise people are on holidays but this was the worst I’d heard in...

"There was no one to open the locked front door when we arrived. Had to call up their contact number and the concerned person reached after 5-10 minutes while we waited outside with all our luggage. There is no front desk staff most of the time which leaves us with none to help with any needed information. The room is extremely congested as well."

"Overall ok for the price . Double room (private) with shared bathroom .convenient location just that the windows were not sealed properly so it was very noisy . Comfy bed . Room was a bit dusty ..cleanliness could be improved . Friendly service from the counter staff. "

"Stayed here 3 nights in the new wings. Highly recommended for tourists who like to visit Georgetown city core, Walkable to everywhere except to the beaches in Batu Ferringhi. Automated tower Parking is included the suite room. "

"Check-in and check-out was seamlessly fast and efficient. Room is clean. Overall property is clean and very good service staff in the entire property in particular Dhur and Joe. They are so helpful and extend the extra miles to even check for us luggage storage at the airport and at Queensbay Mall"

"It’s a cheap place and by no means bad. Good location. But it surprised me to walk into an apartment that felt damp in the air and walls that were dirty with a few drill holes exposed. In terms of maintenance it surprises me that they don’t keep it in better condition. "
