To the west, the historic town of Battle (5 miles) has popular landmarks, including Battle Abbey and the site of the Battle of Hastings. Hastings itself is to the south (7 miles), with attractions including Hastings Castle, Hastings Aquarium and Smugglers Adventure, as well as a sand and shingle beach with a Victorian pier and bustling promenade. Other popular destinations include the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, Brede Steam Giants and Great Dixter House and Gardens, all within 10 miles.

When it's time to turn in for the night, there are two cosy bedrooms – a colourful double with a useful en-suite shower room, and a snug single with a handy trundle bed so the room can be made up into a twin or super-king-size on request. The accommodation is rounded off with a separate WC.


Stepping outside, a small but charming patio area makes a relaxing spot for sitting out in the sun. You will also have private use of a sweet orchard with a BBQ and a picnic table with a gingham tablecloth, offering an idyllic site for dining alfresco as you take in the beautiful surrounding views. Please note, there is a pond in the grounds so children should be supervised. Private parking is available for two cars.
