Kroer i Barnard Castle

"This hotel was ideal for our one night stay to visit our grandchildren who live nearby. The staff communicated with us to explain about the problems with the kitchen but they produced two superb pizzas and the draught beef was really nice."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, comfy bed, lovely hot powerful shower! Great food and beer, really enjoyed my stay!"

"Well presented with table service very nice"

"Lovely staff. Good food and a nice hotel."

"Food was exceptionally good with great choice. Staff pleasant and helpful."

"Nice place but pillows lumpy bed squeaky and not very bright inside"
