"The Trail Hotel is not A hotel on the bourbon trail, it is THE hotel. Over the past 12 months, my husband and I have made several trips to bourbon country. We've stayed in historic hotels, boutique hotels, and chain hotels. The Trail Hotel is by far the hotel we've enjoyed the most. "It was a wonderful stay. The house was warm and very welcoming. We were able to cook the whole time we were there which made our stay that much better. Would love to return next if our host will have us. "

"From arrival to departure, it was fantastic. The staff are top tier. Anything and everything we could need they provided. Easy check in. We stayed in the jail cell room, and it was a great experience. The tour of the jail and the commentary was outstanding and comical. The breakfast included was our favorite part. It is not your basic continental breakfast. Fresh prepared food and the stuffed French toast and the eggs. I don't usually eat eggs, but I would eat them over and over.
