By NoiseAlarm only measuring the sound pressure, it does not record any audio, video nor conversations, and offers 100% of privacy to the guests. If you do not adhere to these rules, we reserve the right to ask you to leave immediately, as our relationship with our neighbors is of the utmost importance to us.

Late check-ins: If you arrive outside of normal hours, please note that there is a late check-in fee. If you arrive after 21/9pm the fee is 20€, and after 24/12am the fee is 50€.

If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80€ fee will apply.

Please keep in mind that if you book last minute (less than 24 hours before your arrival), the official check-in time will be subject to our availability and will be after 4:00 PM.


City Tax: We have to charge you the Barcelona City Tax of 6,05€ per guest above 17 years of age per night, before arrival to the apartment. To understand the calculations, 3 people staying for 3 nights is 54,45€ (6,05 x 3 X 3 = 54,45).

Passport information: It is required by law to register all people staying in any tourist accommodation by their full name, birth date, and passport number. We will therefore request you to provide us with this information before your arrival.

First of all, we loved Barcelona. This apartment is in the heart of the Gothic quarter. It is a perfect place to stay if you enjoy the maze of ancient streets. Steps away from Las Ramblas, Mercado, Cathedral, museums etc. The unit is 1 level above street. Nice little balcony. Plenty of space for 2. Couch converts but this would be a tight space with 4 adults for much more than a couple days. A family with 2 kids could make this work. Downside: Communication with the property company was not good with the exception of Javier. He contacted me via whatsapp before we left. We connected with him easily to give us keys etc. when the TV wouldn't work and I tried contacting Stay U-nique thats when communication fell apart. So, for what its worth if you want something more personal find units owned by individuals not corporations. Downside 2: If you need a solid, uninterrupted 8 hours of sleep, go somewhere else. The street below is noisy until 3 or 4 am. People walking by, pulling luggage, singing etc sound like they are walking through the apartment. If you can deal with that you will love it. The place had the essentials in the kitchen and bath but you get shampoo and toilet paper for a couple days. we were there for a week and had to buy some of these supplies. Front door to the street is tricky and the lock doesn't work well so we found it unlocked several times. They need to fix that. That said we felt secure. Gothic is the place to stay but there is a tradeoff

Very basic - too much for what you pay

The room and bathroom are tiny. I am a small person at 5’1 and the space was even too small for me. Overall not well decorated, bedroom has no sunlight, and not much space for our luggage. Unit does not come with dryer. Shower leaks so much water. It was hard keeping the floor dry. Our sink was not hooked up properly so water go everywhere. We had to have someone fix it during our stay. The front door entry/exit is through a shop - it was a bit of an annoyance having customers block the door. Stairs were in disrepair. No elevator. Check in - having to meet someone for a key is not my favorite. The person we met only gave us a key and showed the unit but after that was not part of the communication for issues. Felt impersonal. We did not have a proper concierge over chat other than emergency even though this is a professionally run unit. Location is decent in terms of access to the city but was extremely crowded. Personal preference issue. Overall this place was too expensive for the price. A hotel would have been better.

Lage: Sehr gut, mitten in der Fußgängerzone Nähe Kathedrale und vielen Geschäften. Ca. 7-10 Minuten zur Metro Placa Catalunja, Endstation Aerobus. Ausstattung: Kleines Appartement mit schönen Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch zur Fußgängerzone hin. Kleiner Balkon reicht für 2 Personen. Tisch mit nur 3 Stühlen. Schlafzimmer ohne Fenster zum lüften! Küche im Wohnzimmer mit Schiebetür zum Schlafzimmer ist gut mit allen ausgestattet. Für 4 Personen schon recht eng.

Buena ubicación pero el departamento no está en buenas condiciones. El Air acondicionado en funciona solo sopla aire pero no enfría. Impossible dormir en el cuarto en verano. Muy poca privacidad ( puertas del baño y del cuarto están en muy mal estado y no cieran bien) Baño necesita una remodelación.

Seven nights in Barcelona

The location of this apartment is fantastic. It is a short walk to the metro station. The bathroom is small so a large person would be uncomfortable. Our only issue was when checking out we were to leave the keys in the apt and close the door. At the bottom of the stairs is an iron gate that protects the shop that shares the same entrance. It requires the same set of keys that we left in the apartment. We got lucky as there was another person leaving early in the morning like us otherwise we would have been trapped and missed our train. I would definitely stay at this place again.

The bathrooms was very dirty (had a musty smell) and there were possible bedbugs in the pull out couch.

Très bonne situation

Nous avons été passé un très bon séjour, l’appartement était très bien équipé et très bien situé. Une seul remarque : prévoir des couvertures plus légères pour la saison car il faisait chaud la nuit, et pensez à réparer la porte de douche qui laisse passer l’eau.

Excellent location and customer service

Had a great time in this space, and enjoyed the gothic quarter’s central location despite it being the tourist center of the city. The floor in the bedroom lacked carpet—seemed that it was in the middle of replacement? And the shower floor/drain leaked water onto the bathroom floor out of a crack (or between the grout) near the bottom left of the shower door. The bedroom/bathroom often smelled of mildew and we wondered if this shower leak had been the reason for the carpet removal etc. Literally everything else about the place was incredible, including the complimentary coffee pods and very well-functioning washer/drying rack. Incredible communication/customer service — don’t balk at the need to pay Stay Unique directly or provide them your travel information—they are reliable, prompt, and very professional.
