"We had an opportunity for a quick trip to see Acadia and this place was perfect. Close enough to Bar Harbor where we could eat and enjoy the scenery. Also close enough (only 4miles) to the park entrance which allowed us to do so much more. Breakfast daily (not some lame buffet with powdered eggs) good stuff made to order. Clean, quiet, and perfectly accommodating. Will stay here again."

"Good, clean property for 2. Could do up to 4 as there are two beds. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat'l Park. We ran into a major traffic jam going back to the property from Bar Harbor. It was people heading home at the end of a holiday weekend. Not the property's fault, just wanted to inform."

"We drove up from Maryland to view the eclipse. Drove from the property up to Houlton on Tuesday morning for that purpose. Didn't get to hang around the property much because we were on the go constantly, but it was as advertised, comfortable, clean and easy access. The only real negative in my view is the close proximity to the main road."

"The bath towels were of high quality but not white. It is a pet peeve of mine that when I use a common use towel I want them to be white so that they can have the ever-living daylights bleached out of them between guests. I did love that little gas fireplace. The furniture could have been arranged slightly different with two comfy chairs and a coffee table looking out over the harbor instead of the dining table which got almost no use from us due to the amount of really great food in walking...

"It's around 16 min by car from Bar Harbour and ~15 min walking from a trail that goes to a nice beach. The unit was great, and very cozy. We had a parking spot. The hosts were welcoming."

"The location was perfect. The size of the house was perfect. A couple of suggestions but by no means a criticism - an additional light outside near the two stairs down would be helpful. It was hard to see and we tripped a couple of times. Wooden tongs for the toaster. Coffee pods for the Keurig with powdered creamer would be nice since we forgot our coffee and that would have been nice the first day until we could get some. Salt and pepper. We brought lots of seasonings but the two we forgot was...

"Over rated, we booked a room with balcony, but the balcony could not be used. A lot of sounds from other rooms and hallway due to older hotel. Very friendly staff"
