Welcome to Owl Ridge Retreat! This expansive, upscale log home is conveniently located between Boone and Banner Elk, close to Valle Crucis. It features three large bedrooms, an additional bunk room, and two full bathrooms, all situated on one level. The home's wide thresholds and hallways make it accessible for individuals with mobility difficulties. From the paved, level parking area, it is only a few steps up to the front porch, leading to a level front entrance.

The kitchen and dining areas are adjacent to one another, providing ample seating for the entire household. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a dramatic floor-to-ceiling stacked-stone fireplace, which is open on both sides for enjoyment from the dining area and the great room. The great room boasts leather furniture, wood floors, vaulted ceilings, a mounted TV, and a wall of windows that reveal seasonal mountain views. You can easily transition from the great room to the expansive open-air rear deck, which stretches from one end of the house to the other. The deck includes a hot tub, outdoor lounge, and dining area, offering views of the wooded surroundings and seasonal winter mountain scenery, along with a rolling backyard and a fire pit. Mature hardwoods encircle Owl Ridge Retreat, ensuring a tranquil and private experience.

On one side of the house, the master suite features a spacious bedroom with cathedral ceilings, a king bed, a leather reclining chair, and a TV. A massive closet includes a hidden office or nursery, and there are two rollaway twin beds stored within, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for families. The master suite also includes an ensuite Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a jetted soaking tub, a slate tile shower, and double vanities. On the other side, an additional bunk room shares the Jack-and-Jill bathroom and has two twin-over-twin bunk beds, making it convenient for families with children.

The opposite side of the house contains two large bedrooms, each equipped with a queen bed, cathedral ceilings, and a TV. These bedrooms are near a second full bathroom that includes a large custom shower. The laundry room, located on this side of the house, features a washer and dryer and offers exterior access for use as a mudroom entrance.

For larger groups, the neighboring Honey Bear Cabin is also available for booking and is within walking distance.

Owl Ridge Retreat is equipped with central heating and air conditioning, WiFi internet, HD Smart TVs for streaming apps, an Xbox One, Bluetooth music options, and a gas grill on the front porch—just a few of the features that guests can enjoy.
