"This was a fantastic place to unwind. A vast array of activities in the surrounding nature or a SriLankan cooking lesson which we found was amazingly interesting and tasty!!! A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning. We loved this place."

It only took 10 min and a warm welcome from the staff at The Governor’s Mansion to shake that feeling off. We had a lovely stay of 2 nights in February 2016. "It was a great stay - the hotel is small and very nice with a beautifull view to the plantations and mountains. There is a completely new road which makes it easy to reach the hotel. Much better than staying at a hotel in Nuwara Elliya."
