"Chose to stay here for a birthday getaway for myself from the city. The place was great. Clean, comfortable, nice, quiet and peaceful. You can roam the property and collect some eggs from the chickens if you wish. Breakfast was provided for the first day. The owner, Elizabeth, did check in as there was a big storm, to make sure i was comfortable and warm enough, which was a nice thought. Definitely would come and stay again."

"Genuinely a nice place, extremely well presented. Both the bed, and the chairs in the lounge area, are comfortable (a nice change from some of the places I've stayed at). The owner, Bruce, is a very affable guy, and I'm happy to recommend this place for a quiet getaway."

In being helpful and constructively critical we did feel that there could be some enhancements to the property that would possibly make future stays more enjoyable. We were disappointed that the bed was made up of two single beds pushed together, the mattresses were of slightly different heights and felt like they were old compromising comfort. The cottage felt a little tired. We hope that these comments are taken...
