"The Harbinson House was a great place to stay for going to a show at Ace of Spades. It is in a beautiful historic neighborhood and the place itself is a quirky historic home. "Hands down the best hotel in Sacramento! They upgraded our room to a corner room with a beautiful view of the capitol. There was live music at the bar and lobby area. We absolutely enjoyed it here and highly recommend staying here!"

"The building is incredible, and a great place to stay in the city - quiet, comfortable, and very close to everything downtown. Staff were warm and friendly, the facilities were very clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a deal worked out with a lovely cafe a couple blocks away so you can get a discount on meals and drinks there. The only walkable groceries are convenience stores/bodegas, but I expected that in a city. Would highly recommend, and I'll be back anytime I need to come through...

"This was a first stay at this Fairfield in about five years. It remains a pretty good low-cost place to stay for a night or two. The breakfast isn't quite as good as we remembered it, and the $10 per day they now charge for parking was off putting. Beyond that, the biggest downside to this location are the frequent freight train horn blasts throughout the night they can nothing about but nevertheless impact the quality of sleep."

"Stayed here during a day trip with my daughter and had a great overall experience. The property was clean, appeared to be fairly new, and was conveniently located near the Capitol building. The only minor downside was the shower design. I’m not a huge fan of the partial glass shower door (or lack of a full door), but that seems to be a common trend in newer hotels these days. "Very beautiful place. My complaint would be that there was hair everywhere from the previous person or the staff and we couldn’t use the bathtub shown in the picture because there was a tone of shoe prints as if someone was walking around in it. Other than that staff was kind and the welcoming. "
