"The location of the house was great. It's in a tiny town on the north shore of the island with a wonderful view of the ocean. Easy access to most of the places you would want to experience.The house was clean, spacious and adequate. The only two issues with us was the very uncomfortable mattresses and the poor sewer function which caused some odor. Keep in mind, it may be difficult to correspond with the owner on VRBO since he answers questions in Portuguese and on the phone at the island due to...

"Spacious, convenient and clean. The hosts were very responsive. We would have liked more instructions on appliances, more local input and easier access to the house (more keys) The house is fabulous for a big crew.....would have been perfect with air conditioning! "

"We stayed 5 nights - house is in a great location- we were able to explore the whole island! Was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day of hiking. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook a good meal. Overall the whole house was very comfortable and a pleasure to stay in."

She also provided us with great recommendations on places to eat around the island beyond Sete Cidades.This location is great if you're looking for a quiet place to stay away from the busier areas. Its only a 15 minute drive to the coast to catch the sunsets."
