We couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay at this property. The location was excellent - close to everything we wanted to do while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. The home was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the details, from the decor to the amenities. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Austin!

This was a lovely stay. Such a perfect location, easy to communicate and deal with host, and house was well appointed and exactly as described. Will continue to be a stay place option when visiting Austin!

We loved our stay at this charming property! Perfect location to access First Street and South Congress on foot. Great neighborhood for walking to admire the homes, businesses and grackles. Great restaurants close by, even a First Food Mart. The beds are dreamy, nice shower. Would stay here again.

Quick trip to Austin

Had a wonderful stay at the house. The location was perfect and had plenty of things to do within walking distance. I would be happy to spend another vacation there if I get the chance.

Great communication from host. Cute home. Wonderful bathroom facilities. Location was very convenient for us. If we had any suggestions we’d recommend new carpet in the front bedroom and perhaps fresh paint or extensive cleaning of the front porch area.

Great spot, great host

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location is very close to SoCo but is on a quiet street, and had all the amenities we needed. Check in was nice and easy; check out was even better! Excellent host!

Just not worth it for the price. Unfortunately it's smaller than it looks via photos, the 2nd bathroom is deep in the basement which is unpractical, and most importantly it has an odor likely due to old carpets and stained furniture. If you're just looking for a good location, this can work. If the owners put some more into new carpets and furniture it would provide a huge benefit to the property.

Amazing Stay

The property was very accessible to everything, from eats to shopping spots, that were even walking distance. The area was very nice to do some morning walks with our pet or even for a morning run. Loved every minute spent indoor and out.

Great location! Great place!

It was our first time to Austin. This place is right off South Congress and also First St. The place is amazing clean and has everything you need. It make a you feel like you are really experiencing living in Austin. Thanks for a great stay.

Great stay close by for the Festival!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was a great location for the festival and walking distance to restaurants, coffee and shops. Plenty of materials to cook and clean. The furniture and appliances were all good quality. It would have been nice to have a parking spot on the property so we didn’t have to park in the street.

Sweet bungalow

This was exactly what we needed! The house was adorable and the location was so fantastic I turned the rental car in early. Everything worked perfectly, the house was clean, the washer and dryer are shiny and new. Can’t wait to stay here again and to see what y’all do with that massive yard! Will def book this spot next time I’m in my beloved hometown. I miss it so.

Good communications from host. Unfortunately the front door code didn’t work when we arrived, but we were able to call and get it resolved fairly quickly. Some of the home’s features need upgrading or TLC.

Great location for an Austin visit

The location is great! Very walkable to many shops and restaurants on S.1st and S. Congress. Overall the house was nice and comfortable. Very clean and well-equipped. There were a couple small maintenance issues that could have been addressed but nothing major. Off street parking would have been nice also but we knew it was not included before booking. Again - very cute and comfy house in a great location!

Great for mid-week stay close to downtown

We loved the house, the neighborhood and proximity of great restaurants. It felt safe, there were good playgrounds nearby for our kids and they loved throwing rocks in the creek. The house was big enough for our family of 4 + a dog, especially given the added workspace downstairs. Parking is on the street and across the street, but only a minor inconvenience.

5 day Austin visit

Nice bungalow. Clean. Comfortable bed. Large and practical bathroom with great shower. Seamless and fast communication with owner. I would add a few more wine glasses in the kitchen. There were only 2.

We enjoyed our stay

The home is comfortable. The kitchen is updated nicely, they have a wonderful updated bathroom on the first floor. They provide excellent laundry facilities in the basement which is where the second bathroom is located. The living room seating is very tired and the parking is across the sometime very busy street. We encountered rain during our stay and there was temporary construction in the street so I would say that the parking was the only downside to the rental.

Great location!

This safe, quiet residential location can't be beat for easy strolling to cafes, restaurants, shops and music venues. The dog-friendly nature is also a big plus. We felt the place was lacking some basic amenities when we checked in, including coat hangers, facial tissues, and coffee; management was beyond gracious in getting us everything we requested in short order. All that said, the space is a little shabby: the upholstery was stained, the carpets were dirty, there was mold on the shower curtain, and the walls and baseboards could use a good scrubbing with Ajax and maybe some repainting. We shared that with the management company and they seemed very responsive; I hope that by the time you visit, all those issues will be resolved!
