"I loved the cottage! I will suggest a few things: The front door knob is loose and the doors do not align to use the dead bolt. Having a small table and chairs where the sitting chairs would be a nice option for those that could use more table space to eat as well as use a laptop computer."

"This property is just as beautiful as the pictures imply. You couldn't ask for a better view to wake up to in the mornings. Something for everyone - we swam, kayaked, paddled, fished, crabbed, and boated. The grandparents read books on the porch enjoying the view. Fourth of July in downtown Belhaven was a scene from a Hallmark movie. We had a great time and would definitely return."

"We booked the Grey Goose for a family get together. The unit was well equipped and dog friendly. Jeff, the host, was easy to work with."

"We had a nice 3 night stay here. It was very clean and well kept. The kitchen had new high end appliances. It also had what looked to be brand new washer and dryer that we did not end up using. The listing did mention a hair dyer is provided and I did not find that anywhere, which was a little disappointing since I did not pack one for that reason. The only things we did not enjoy was the bed and bedding was low quality and not the most comfortable. I would recommend at least bringing your own...

"Very special property nearly surrounded by water. It's immaculately clean & well-appointed. Bring your kayak, canoe or boat! The restaurants in downtown Belhaven (esp. Bistro 1904 & The Mad Batter) are comparable to the best in any big city I've visited!"

"We spent 3 lovely nights here in this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were able to dock our boat outside on the creek giving us easy access to fishing and fun. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful get away!"

"This restored cottage is very well restored and more importantly while maintaining charm, is modern in execution. Very walkable neighborhood and close to downtown. I parked my car and did not need to use it again until I left. The home is as described and all amenities worked well. The owner is vey easy to work with and welcoming."
