"Came to Maine to run a marathon. We were lucky enough to find this residence instead of a hotel. I’m glad that we did. It’s a charming cabin that is very pet friendly if you bring a pet. Chilling out on the dock and listening to the loons while boaters cruise by was very relaxing. The owner is very available and easy to communicate with. If there was any one thing that needed additional attention, it would be the cleaning. The person who does the cleaning probably needs one of those Swiffers...

I did have some issues, though, which would've been mitigated with some additional information. There is running water but the smell of sulfur was overwhelming. It was not drinkable..bring lots of water. Showers are not really able to be taken as the smell makes your eyes water. Mice were an issue, BUT, it is a wood cabin. ...

"We stopped here for three nights as part of a long road trip. The property is beautiful. Right on a quite lake with a private dock and large deck. There are kayaks, and canoe, and SUP that my wife, kids, and I really enjoyed for getting out on the water. There is a fire pit for sitting around a night. "I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though"
