"All In all a nice place to stay don’t know what happened at check in but it was incredible slow and confusing. The breakfast area is not big enough for the amount of room. "Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! "

"Fun place to stay. Very comfortable but don't expect the normal room layout. If creaking floors bother you, ask for a room on the highest floor. The building is old with original flooring. That said, the little restaurant is superb. The cook is great and as she is the wait staff so is the staffing. There are places to sit and read or look out the windows at the views. The campus is quite lovely. It's history will interest many. "

"This was THE best place I have ever stayed. I was traveling with my four kiddos and husband and there was plenty of space for us. The free snacks and ice cream made the stay for them memorable. The building itself had been beautifully restored and the space is huge. There is a great quiet and picturesque place to read and a beautiful old library with a gorgeous pool table for some fun.
