The first thing we did was clean the refrigerator. There were spider webs in the downstairs bedroom that had to be removed. "The property was not entirely up to standards. The floor was wavy with a soft spot leading from the living area to the bedroom. Ceilings are low. There was a slight musty smell. I suspect a history of water damage. The couch is very small. The dock was not usable, even though lake was at summer pool. Half of the dock was on shore. "Southern hospitality at its best! From the snack basket (which was quickly eaten) to the clean and comfortable beds, the entire experience was focused with guests’ comfort in mind. Highly recommend this peaceful place in the rolling hills of Dayton. No water when we were there, but would imagine it would be great fishing off the dock."
