Everything about this little cabin was phenomenal with the exception of privacy. The view was amazing and the little cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. I really enjoyed bringing my portable hammock stand and curling up on the porch with my book. We did some cooking and found all the dishes and utensils we needed. There is not a dishwasher in the cabin, but this was not a big deal with just two people dirtying dishes. The cabin is only about 15 minutes from Rock Island State Park. We were able to head over there in the morning with the dog and back to the cabin in the afternoon/evening. My only complaint was the lack of privacy. There are two other cabins that are super close and the property owner has a home about 30 yards from the cabin. We could see and hear the people who were staying next door to us when they were on their porch. One of the nights we were there, there was a party at the main house. There were people walking back and forth in front of our cabin while we were sitting at the fire pit. If you don't mind having others in very close proximity to your retreat, want a gorgeous view and a cute, cozy cabin, you will love this place!
