We loved the animals that the owner had and even let them in for a visit. "We had a wonderful time. Gwen was a sensational hostess, helping with all aspects of our stay....where to go, where to park, what to see, where to eat etc....and booking restaurants for us. It's a great location being so near Assisi and all the lovely towns in the valley. I would love to think that we might be able to go again some time."

"In a word I would call this stay quirky. The apartment seems to be a place where you can just rent a bedroom without kitchen access should you choose. As a result, the kitchen cupboards are completely empty. We did find some dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc in a small cabinet which could be locked. The amenities were minimal. The checkin was helped by the host providing direction to our taxi driver. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean. You are right on the street so you can expect...

"La casa è molto carina e abbiamo passato una bella settimana di relax sulle colline appena fuori Assisi. Il punto forte è sicuramente il giardino e la piscina che viene giornalmente pulita da Sue. La zona è molto tranquilla e riservata. "This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."

Hyggeligt, autentisk og rent hotel
"Autentisk hotel med fine gamle og vedligeholdte møbler, som hører til i en by som Assisi. Dejligt rent, super gode senge, flinkt og hjælpsomt personale. Vi fik gode råd mht vandre ture. Vi havde adgang til en fantastisk terrasse med en udsigt der er meget sjælden over hele dalen og med sol. Morgenmad med fint udvalg, dog savnede vi brød med korn, men det ses sjældent i Italien. God kaffe osv.. God beliggenhed midt i byen, men tilbagetrukket, så der var stille.. Vi vil helt sikkert vælge det igen, hvis vi kommer tilbage til Assisi.. "
