"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

"Would not stay there again, management keyed another individual to our room and gave access to it not 10 minute after we checked in. When called to rectify the situation blew it of to a simple mistake and never really apologized for it. Although the room was listed as non smoking the smell of old smoke could still be smelled in the room. I have stay Econolodges before and they have not been bad! This one should be looked at by corporate."

"The building, grounds and room were all very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast also. However, our bathroom in 317 needed cleaning where the wall and tub meet the floor. Also the shower curtain was too long and dirty at the bottom and we did not want it in the same water we had to stand in when showering. As you know typically during a shower water does accumulate on the tub floor. Also the drain in the sink was sluggish. Everything else was good."

"Staff was very helpful particularly Jerry in outside cafe. Grounds keeper did a beautiful job! Outdoor pool was amazing! Will be back to swim in in the winter. Loved the shops located in the main building. We stayed in Maple Glen which was lovely. I was disappointed my room was dark but now know to ask for a sunnier room when booking."

"Pictures on the internet made it appear to be an Inn. It was actually a motel just above route 7. Tricky taking a left onto a 4 lane highway to get to Lenox but doable. Room was clean, air conditioned, comfortable and great staff. Few minor issues: 1. Bathroom fan didn't work and one of the charge ports on the shared bedside table was dead. I would recommend if all the cute Inns in Lenox are full."

"Okay place to spend a night but don’t expect any service. This place uses remote “staff” to run the joint. I called the “desk” around 6:30 pm with a request. Got a call back around noon the next day, when we were well on our way. No soaps, no shower cap. Only plus was an urn of good coffee in the otherwise empty lobby. Not much for $160 or so."
