The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. "

"We stayed at the Peak Hotel for 3 nights & unfortunately did not have a positive experience. While the property is exactly as advertised—a charming historic building with a pub downstairs—it feels more like a pub with a few guest rooms than a traditional hotel. After check-in, there was very little interaction or hospitality from staff. Our biggest issue was Room #1, which is located directly beside the pub’s outdoor patio. "We had a fantastic stay at De Trafford Hotel. Very friendly and smiling staff who give a warm welcome. The bar and lounge are cosy and a lovely area for food and drinks. The rooms are a bit worn, but everything works and is nice and clean. The bed comfort was good! I can highly recommend the hotel. The village was also nice with a small shopping street with supermarket and cafés. Easy to get to and from the airport and to manchester city by train in just 15 minutes."
