"Perfect place to explore Black Mountain because we were within walking distance of everything. Hostess was fun and helpful with recommendations. Her gardens were gorgeous. "

"We were not able to use the hot tub due to there not being enough water, which was a bummer. The hot tub appeared old and not very clean. Water pressure is not great if you want a good shower. The fireplace from the pictures didn't work either. I never heard back from the host after I messaged them about the hot tub. For the price, you might as well get a hotel with a working hot tub and good shower. "

"This is a lovely cabin property! The interior was very nicely furnished. The kitchen well equipped with new appliances. It has an old farmhouse sink, updated with modern fixtures. The beds were comfy and the house was well stocked with towels and linen. The whole cabin was exceptionally clean. It’s also close to DuPont (15ish minutes to the main visitor centers) for hiking or biking. Would definitely recommend this cabin. "

"We have rented for many years. Homes, cabins, etc. This cottage was outstanding. We were perfectly happy with the stay. Very clean. Everything seemed to be new. Privacy fence around the entire backyard, which was great for us as well as the dog. Near enough to downtown but approx. 3/4 mile or more to walk. All level walking area, but the heat can take its toll. There is plenty of parking in town, so if walking is an issue I suggest the short drive. The owners of the cottage were available at all...

"1st time using Vrbo. And David represented, coming back to Vrbo or maybe even trying David's property a few more times. Loved it!Accurate, neat, remote from people and quiet, yet only 10 min to grocery stores and things.
