Kroer i Ashby-de-la-Zouch

"Delightful inn with clean, comfortable en-suite bedrooms, lovely bar / restaurant with cask ales and delicious meals, all supported by friendly, helpful staff."

"The tv Ariel didn’t work , tiny poorly maintained room"

"Love the location. Staff that I met were v friendly. The food was excellent and well worth the stay. The room was comfortable and pleased to see coffee bags rather than the disgusting tubes of Nescafe which most hotels do. There were a couple pf things which werent so good but it wouldnt stop me staying again. In the evening the water took a while to warm up which was ok however in the morning it didnt at all. I had a wet shave waiting for it to heat up so shave was in cold water and shower was...

"I just wanted to share how much I enjoyed my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly welcome. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, the amenities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was warm and professional. Special thanks to the front desk and housekeeping teams for their attentive service — it made a real difference. I would gladly return and...

"Der var for meget larm udenfor. Vinduerne er gamle og holder ikke lyd ude. Prisen er for høj ift standarden. kl 7.30 på en almindelig dag står der en og arbejder med fustager lige udenfor. "

"Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

"A good hotel, been here a few times now"

"This was a 3 night stay, with 11 other golfers, in the heart of Wantage, It is an old property in the town square. Rooms were small but adequate. Bathroom was well maintained and clean. (Nice towels). We dined there once and breakfasted three times. Food was good. Service was very professional and friendly. The bar was well stocked and lively whilst we were there. Only criticism was the hotel seemed very warm especially in the room. I had a fan and could open the window etc but it did not...

"Great staff, comfy beds, clean rooms, easy parking, lovely food in the restaurant. Will definitely look to return if staying in the area again."

"En noget blandet fornøjelse. Personalet var flinke til at finde en taxa til os. MEN stedet er meget slidt, trænger til en omgang rengøring ud i krogene og så mangles der flaskevand på værelset. Isæt henset til at der er langt til nærmeste mulighed for indkøb - og der ikke er mulighed for at købe noget på overnatningsstedet efter kl. 22.52."
