Alto Vallecito - et moderne hjem på 1. 4 hektar med ekspansiv uhindret udsigt over Sangre de Cristo-bjergene, herunder dens navnebror Vallecito Mountain (12.643 '). Praktisk placeret halvvejs mellem byen Taos og verdensberømte Taos Ski Valley med et unikt design fortolkning af "Taos Arkitektur," at blande en pueblo-stil fladt tag med en sadeltag skaber store katedral lofter i det store rum og soveværelse.

Highly recommend

Wonderful property in which I would definitely stay again. It was spotless and well supplied with basics. The views of the mountains are spectacular and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Close to the tiny village of Arroyo Seco (1/2 mile), where there are some galleries, a few restaurants, and a small but good grocery store. Will stay here again!

Fun Getaway Home and Great Views!

The property was lovely and the view very impressive. It was also super close to Arroyo Seco which is darling! The washer was super stinky and we could not use it, but it was otherwise fabulous!

The BEST place to stay around Taos

We’ve been coming to this house for years! Beautiful home, beautiful Mountain views, privacy, comfortable beds, spacious kitchen. This place has everything you need and a short drive to town, ski valley, the gorge. Arroy Secco is a short walk down the road with the best places to eat. Our favorites are Sol Food, Taos Cow, and Aceq. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

Ski week in Taos

Lovely home, well appointed with all you need. Everything worked. 2 winter storms and we were plowed out to get out of our very long drive!

Family Getaway

This was a perfect rental for two couples. Two of us arrived from the East Coast and two arrived from Colorado and we chose this rental for 3 nights for a family get together. The views/scenery are amazing from all rooms and the kitchen had everything we needed. We’d love to rent again some day. Thank you. Sandra B

Great home, beautiful views!

Stocked with everything you need and very spacious. Property is hard to find at night and cell service is spotty so definitely try to follow the written directions provided at time of rental. Jacuzzi is amazing as well. Just book it.

Kitchen has everything you need. Washer/dryer provided. Plenty of parking in front of house. The back patio was my favorite place. I enjoyed the rain on the roof as well. The view from the couch is lovely as well. Caretaker Denise Neal was very helpful as were Tanya and Gary in the main office. I’d stay here again in a flash. Premier Properties has always done an outstanding job for me.

Arroyo Seco Gem

We loved staying in this great home just outside of the fabulous village of Arroyo Seco. It was ample in size, had a great kitchen/living area, super comfortable beds, and great bath facilities. The view and the outdoor spaces were also a wonderful feature of this property. Waking up to the ringed Mountain Views each day was breathtaking. Everything was as expected and the property manager was on top of everything. Definitely consider this property. We likely will be back!

Lovely Home with Gorgeous Views

Very comfortable, clean, well-equipped house situated in the cute little village of Arroyo Seco - 20 mins from Taos in one direction and 20 mins from the Taos Ski Resort in the other direction. Eating in is a pleasure - the kitchen is very chef-friendly and the dining room has a beautiful view of the mountains. Kristi, the property manager, was great and responded quickly to replace the battery in a smoke detector that was beeping. This is a perfect rental for two couples or a small family.

Our Fave Taos House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in MANY homes in the Taos area. By far this is our favorite, and we keep returning. It's the perfect distance to walk in the morning to Sol Market for breakfast. It's minutes from Taos proper and the Ski Valley. The house is so private, and it makes you feel like the only people on earth. The home is well-kept and very clean. We will book here again and again. We have one small snafu with the home manager this time, but it was resolved quickly. It's a must-stay for smaller families or two couples. The only change I would make (and I ask this of every VRBO-type home) is that they use a free and clear detergent. The perfumed linens are overbearing and not environmentally friendly.

It was cold and dark - we went outside in our pajamas to look at the stars. We got locked out. no phone, no keys... We had to break a small pane of glass on the front door to get back inside. We were willing to pay. It was a debacle - and were treated like criminals. The real criminal was the property management who automatically debited our card on file with out our permission or knowledge. Grand Larceny.

Our Secret in Taos

We have stayed in this home four times. We visit Taos every summer in July for fly-fishing and have stayed in many, many VRBOs over the years. This one is the best of any we have tried and the reason we always return. The house is perfect for just the two of us. However, if you were staying with another couple or kids, the secondary bedroom is on its own wing - and everyone gets maximum privacy. We enjoy the courtyard every morning and evening for meals. From that vantage point, we have seen hundreds of darling prairie dogs, a fox, a rabbit or three, rainbows, rain on the mountains, and even elk all from the comfort of the private back courtyard. We also enjoy the spa every day and have watched many a sunrise from it. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make your meals. There are many big grocery stores in town, but also Sol Food 2-3 minutes away for quick items. The beds are comfortable, although we do wish the owners would switch to non-scented detergent for the bedding and towels. We usually have to bring our own due to the intense perfumed detergent used. The home is perfectly located for access to anything. Taos in minutes, the ski valley in minutes, and all the wonderful Arroyo Seco and El Prado restaurants in minutes. The house is private and easy to access, although the driveway needs to be graded quite badly. You will get all the quiet you need here to unplug and disconnect from the world. We will stay again and again!

Driving to the rental you do drive through some less then desirable lots but a lot of New Mexico is like that. The bones of the home are good with the lay out being nice. However the home needed a good dust up like repainting the walls, fix the washing machine, new throw rugs as the old ones were smelly and new linens as the linens were past their prime. Those are small touches that make a rental memorable in a good way.

A living room chair needs replacement (fraux leather flaking badly), the patio view had been closed off due to overgrowth, the hot tub has lime build up and is very uncomfortable to sit in (rough spiked barbs cover the bottom and sides), the entrance road has huge pot holes, and the front loading washer smells awful and won’t complete a cycle unless a manual correction is madeOn each load. These tend to take away from our excitement in spending g our vacation here.

Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at this lovely, comfortable, well-stocked, and well-maintained property — and we enjoyed it just as much this time as we did on our first visit! We like the beautiful mountain views and all the large windows that bring in the light and fresh air. The kitchen is well-stocked and is a great place to prepare a meal while interacting with others. It would be nice to have another comfortable chair in the living room, but we brought a couple of large folding camp chairs with us this time so we made it work for our group. Taos Cow and ACEQ restaurant are just down the road so you don’t have to travel far to get good food for breakfast, lunch, ice cream, and dinner. We hope to be able to rent this house again the next time we are visiting family in Taos!
