"Mark went out of his way to be as helpful as possible and laid on snacks, wine and milk for us on our arrival.The views over the Loch were beautiful! The only word of caution is that there is a fairly steep concrete staircase that spirals up to the apartment - if you are not good on your feet it may be an issue."

"Amazing stay here. We flew in from the US and this was a one night stay for our main rental. We wish we could have stayed longer. Owner was so helpful and went over all procedures for the hot tub and wood burning pizza oven. They even had a honesty shop and fire wood. Will be back. Great stay from a great host!"

"My family and I had had the most wonderful stay at Stronachlachar Lodge. The house is ABSOLUTELY stunning, with picturesque views from almost every window, and being directly on Loch Katarine. It is so peaceful and despite being so big, it is incredibly homely. "Property is in need of a little TLC. Bathroom tiles cracked and dirty. Oven knobs missing, door wobbly and pictures to show which ring etc rubbed off, pot lid handles cracked, glass light shades cracked/broken. Many walls have been filled with filler but not painted. However this did not take away from our break with family. "

"Property was beautifully laid out, very spacious and with 2/3 seated areas great for families or large groups to have their own space. Bathrooms were soacious. We had dog with us and bit out back was useful for him to run around. The only reason i have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that heating was really difficult to control, the house ended up extremely hot. "
