I booked via VRBO, received a confirmation email, my credit card was charged and we thought we were good to go on our vacation and were planning what to do in three lakes. However Vacassa requires you to verify your identity directly with them via a separate process. I missed the email as it came later and they canceled the reservation the next morning. "This place deserves more than 5 stars!!! Sparkling clean, wonderful amenities, towels were 5+ hotel quality and it was all set to welcome us. There were nice bath products for our use. Since the temp was way below zero on our arrival, it was great to have a “warm” welcome. Lights were on and the temp was perfect. "Everything was exactly as described in Description.Nice bar lodging 1/2 city block, walking distance .Offered Coffee, tea,hot chocolate, rolls ,muffins and alcohol beverages .Female Managers very helpful and informative . My most negative review was our condo number 251 had so much iron in water .Smelly and could not drink it .Coffee not drinkable . Added flavored packets to water and still unpleasant. Need a filtration on kitchen faucet or provide case of water for renters ."

"Plenty of room for everybody to spread out for conversation, dining, cards, etc. It's well maintained and comfortably furnished. Our only complaint was the distance from the parking area to the unit was not handicapped friendly unless they have a wheelchair. We also had troubles with the door code, often."

After a long drive up we get to the house and unload its late by now like midnight and boy we would all like to shower. Oh wait not a single towel in the entire house? So here we are in Hillers words a beautiful executive condo....with not one towel! No towels sir due...

"This was our first VRBO stay and it was a game changer. Our group enjoyed the great kitchen layout to cook meals and visit at the gorgeous kitchen table. Kids loved the outdoor space and amenities in the garage to play. Rooms were spacious and kids woke up saying it was their best sleep ever. The ability to visit with friends and our kids in a comfortable home setting ceated an atmosphere for a weekend we will all talk about for years to come. Thank you for having us."
