This highway is the highest in Romania and crosses over the tallest mountain range in the country. Many consider this to be one of the best driving roads on earth, and we can easily see why! Although this is the most often shown photo of the road, it's total length is over 90 kilometers, winding the entire way! #Europe #Romania #Road

A road that has just turned 41 years old! It's claimed to be the most beautiful in the world, its construction claimed many lives, and it definitely is my favourite high-altitude road in Romania.
